Experience

800 SAT Verbal (2006) National Merit Finalist Distinguished AP Scholar Literary Editor at Westlake's The Final Draft Locally Published, Practicing Writer I have always enjoyed academics, especially the liberal arts, in a very genuine way, and I want to pass the joy I find in reading literature and writing essays, fiction, and poetry on to others. I am experienced as a Teacher's Assistant for high school English and have taken a seminar on methods of teaching writing. Additionally, my college education was mostly filled by a wide range of literature seminars and writing workshops, so I am very comfortable in literary analysis, discussion, and the crafting of written responses. I would also be delighted to assist in outlining, drafting, editing, or refining writing of any kind.

Hobbies

I love to read, so I find myself spending a good chunk of my free time at home or a local coffee shop enthralled by many different kinds of books as well as the Sunday paper. When I'm not reading or writing, I love seeing live music, going to Alamo Drafthouse, eating at my Austin favorites, playing with my cat, swimming in Barton Springs, or walking around Town Lake.
