ExperienceI have worked as a teaching assistant and supplemental instructor at UT Austin and Austin Community College for the past 9 years. I have experience teaching one-on-one and small groups of students at the undergraduate and high school level. In the past, I have mostly taught government and political philosophy courses with a strong writing component. Through these courses, I have developed strategies to advance reading comprehension and test taking skills geared to undergraduates and high school students.
My expertise is in political science, history, social studies, critical reading, and english composition.
I am looking to tutor as a way to supplement my income while finishing my dissertation.
