| Experience: | My spoken and written French is at a very high level. Aside from studying French at Wellesley, I've worked as a counselor at the Middlebury-Monterrey Language Academy (immersion program) in the French camp. I am currently studying at a political science institute in Paris where I take most of my classes in French. I've traveled many times to France, spent about a year in Belgium at a French school and am currently in Paris for 6 months. I love learning and sharing language! I'll be back in Austin from July 9 until September. |
| Hobbies: | Aside from learning languages, my other major hobby is cooking. I'm partial to French and Italian, but am always willing to learn new recipes. I've learned a lot of French just from cooking with French cook books and taking cooking classes in Paris. If your son or daughter is interested, we can cook a French dish together (I recently learned "pain au chocolat") while learning the language! |
