ExperienceI'm from the corn and soybean fields of Indiana; I'm a Hoosier, we're known for being personable and hard-working. I'm the youngest from an Air-Force family of 7, so I'm an excellent listener and I'll be focused on how you learn.
I'm a highly technical dude, but I specialize in taking imposing subjects and bringing them down to earth. If you want to do calculus, you can do calculus; I promise.
I want to be a tutor because I'm passionate about math, education, and helping people. My calculus teacher in high school was Mr. Schroeder, who made calculus (which I'd heard about from my siblings as being an ominous, terribly difficult subject) into kindergarten. He made doing it simple and (can I even say this?) fun. That's my target.
Relevant classes I've taken:
Calculus I, II, III
I work as a software engineer, and my coworkers love having me on their team because I'm lively, make people laugh, and can handle tech.
HobbiesI'm a SCUBA diver, rock-climber, avid chess player, math enthusiast, heavy reader (philosophy, literature, self-help), comedy improviser, and someday entrepreneur. Name something scary, I probably have done it or will do it, because I love challenging fear.
