I have a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Stanford University, where I had a 3.8 GPA, and won several university arts and writing prizes.

Experience

I have two years of experience working as an academic writing tutor for college students, and have taught several creative and expository writing workshops to high school students. In addition, I volunteered tutoring elementary and middle school students in various subjects throughout college. I got a 2230 on my SATs including a perfect 800 on the critical reading section and a 780 on the writing section. I've taken a college level course on tutoring pedagogy, and have loved the work I've done as a tutor. I plan on working in academia throughout my life. In addition, my work has been published in multiple national literary journals, including The Kenyon Review.
