Experience

I believe my combination of passion for the LSAT along with experience in teaching makes me an excellent tutor. During preparation for the LSAT, I found I truly enjoyed learning the skills the test required. Unlike other standardized tests, the skills I gained from the LSAT aided me in other areas. Tutoring the LSAT allows me to bring this excitement for the exam to others. The LSAT rewarded me for reviewing errors on old tests and reevaluating my methods. Incorrect responses did not make me feel like the test tricked me but instead that I needed to reevaluate my methods. Due to my diligence, I scored a 173 on the LSAT. I have taught argumentative techniques for several years to both college and high school students. As the Head Policy Debate coach at Whitman College and as a lab leader at the Whitman National Debate Institute, I developed curricula targeted for the skill level of my students.
