| Experience: | I have tutored starting from when I was a sophomore in high school. I have experience in teaching students from 3rd to 11th grade in a variety of subjects that include chemistry, pre-calculus, calculus, geometry, etc. I am particularly well-experienced in helping high school students with their basic chemistry courses.
My SAT and SAT II scores reflect my strengths in the math and sciences. I have received 800 in both the SAT and SAT II math (760 in writing and 690 in critical reading for a composite of 2250), a 760 in the SAT II chemistry, and 740 in the SAT II Korean. My AP calculus BC, computer science A, and world history scores were 5's. I've received 4's on my other 6 tests. I was a National Merit Finalist with a PSAT score of 227, ranking in the top 1% in the nation which gave me a large scholarship for UT.
As for my extracurriculars here at UT, I am heavily involved in research, recently obtaining a position as an undergraduate researcher at Liu Labs studying biosynthetic pathways of unusual thiosugar products. I was also a member of the Freshmen Research Initiative.
I am currently enrolled in the Dean's Scholars Honors Program as a biochemistry B.S major, fulfilling pre-med requirements as well as seeking the business foundations certificate. |
| Hobbies: | I enjoy playing basketball, football, golf, and working out.
