| Preferred Subjects: | English (ESL), English (Writing), Spanish, and Study Skills/Organization |
| Experience: | I tutored beginning Spanish students while I was a junior and senior in high school, and have since been a part of tutoring programs in the Austin community through the HOSTS program at Metz Elementary, helping with reading and writing skills in English and Spanish. I also helped institute an educational session in a one-room classroom on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. All of the above has been unpaid.
I very much enjoy helping students review their class notes and giving them experience of their studies by incorporating their work into conversation and real world application.
Other background that makes me a helpful resource is my history in speech and debate (four years), my studies in journalism (my major at UT), my minor in Spanish and my study abroad experience in Spain. |
| Hobbies: | In my spare time I enjoy playing volleyball and taking spinning classes, dancing, reading and writing, cooking, arts and crafts and practicing Spanish. |
