I have worked with all age levels, primarily teaching English. While I am comfortable teaching any subject my skills render possible, I have a particular predilection for language, writing and reading (specifically classic literature). I am also able to teach all levels of Spanish and French. I am a confident leader, successful at managing behavior and can quickly modify my approach to meet individual students’ needs and interests. For example, I once had a teenager who wasn't at all interested in the subject at hand. She was, however, very interested in David Beckham. So I created lessons from articles about him, and we immediately saw a drastic turn-around for her. I love learning and helping others to share in that joy.
