I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from Lamar University, with a 4.0 grade point average. While I was enrolled, I put 600+ hours towards public school classrooms. I usually worked with middle and high school students, but did work with elementary students as well. I have taught in many different settings, including teaching classrooms, study groups, and one-on-one. I am currently earning a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I truly believe that you never stop learning, and I will continue to do so, for as long as I can.I know that any student can learn and achieve their goals, as long as they put in the effort. I know that my passion for writing and reading helps me teach my students. I enjoy tutoring any English subject, even if it is beyond the standard reading and writing.
