Experience

I am ready to tutor students in elementary and middle school math, pre-algebra, psychology, and writing. Presently, I am an Adjunct Professor and also a tutor at Austin Community College. I've worked in the Manor Independent School District as lead tutor for the Advanced Placement Via Individual Determination program in the 5 years before completing my bachelor's/graduate degrees. The program equips average and first generation students to be in charge of their education. I have tutored and mentored students and served as an information kiosk for those wanting to learn more about life and college. At Southwestern A/G University, I earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and earned my master's degree in Sociology from Texas State University - San Marcos. I currently live in Austin, Texas and enjoy thriller and action movies, meeting friends for coffee, and trying new restaurants in my free time.
