Experience
I think I would be a good tutor because I not only know the information but I enjoy working with others and helping people understand things. I have worked with many different grade levels already and also with different kind of people (children with ADD, dyslexia, and children not fully fluent in English). I tutored other high school students in their math courses and Spanish. I also went to elementary schools in the morning to help them with their math homework. When babysitting I also aided the kids in their homework. From this experience I am confident that I will be able to alter my teaching techniques to aid all different learning types. Being an engineering major I am constantly working in group projects, these projects have also helped me to learn how to work and communicate clearly with all different types of people (both culturally and personality wise). Because of my experience I feel that I would be a perfect fit for the job. I would love to work with students to help difficult problems seem easy. I think that as a college student I will be easily approachable and relatable to the students as well.

Hobbies
I'm a pretty versatile person. While I love my science and math I also have many other hobbies. In high school I was on the volleyball, soccer and flag football teams, and am currently in soccer and volleyball intramural teams. I was also very active in art, specifically ceramics. Currently I am in the American Society of Civil Engineers, Women in Engineering, and a service/spirit group called Texas Sweethearts.
