5+ years of tutoring ranging from elementary - college level (math) 3 years of ACT test prep Instruction I completed my student teaching semester at San Marcos high school and the following summer after graduation I began the ACT test prep summer program through Texas State. For the last five years I've tutored formally through AISD, charter schools, third-party tutoring companies, and informally through child care programs. I love tutoring because I am passionate about helping students succeed. I believe everyone has potential beyond their current standing and I hope to be a person involved in utilizing that potential to its fullest. I have always had a personal desire to be helpful to others and it became a professional goal when I decided to pursue a career in education. My past teachers have been an inspiration for me to continue forward. If I could help a student in a fraction of the way my teachers have helped me, I would consider myself accomplished.

Hobbies

When I am not tutoring I'll either be riding my bike around with friends or I'm at home reading and watching movies. I am very interested in learning languages. Currently I am pursuing fluency in Japanese.
