Experience
I attended St. Edward's University, graduating in the top 10% of my class. I know that sometimes it is difficult to ask for help. I myself have been tutored in a subject I was having trouble with. You won't find a person who is great at every subject. And, if you learn how to ask for assistance, you will improve your overall ability as a student and your proficiency later in the workforce. The goal is for you to improve from wherever you are starting. It's not a contest of how you score versus others. As a tutor, I hold strong in my conviction that the key to success is finding the learning path that fits you. There are many tools and techniques out there, and some of them will fit your style. It is important to have patience because you may try some that don't work. But you will find some that do, and when that happens, you will have learned an important lesson about who you are. I don't think any of us are "bad" at a particular subject. We just may not know - yet - how we should approach it based on our learning style. As a tutor, it's my job to help you figure that out.
