Experience
I earned a degree in Plan II from the University of Texas at Austin. There, I discovered my love of writing when I completed a thesis project that was a memoir of women in America and their cooking habits. Although I enjoy the written word, I can teach a variety of subjects. These subjects include, but are not limited to, mathematics, Spanish, reading, ACT and SAT skills, religion, social science, geography, politics, and studio and visual art. I am able to work with gifted students and those of varying academic levels.I have struggled with learning in the past. My own bad experiences taught me how to be the best possible instructor. Education needs to be fun and engaging in order to be effective. So, I strive to keep my students happy in their quest for knowledge. Academic success is a source of power and freedom, which can lead to fulfillment in life. I want to be a part of creating a better attitude towards education in others. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing and music. I like to cook. I also read and write a great deal I currently reside in Austin, Texas.
