I am Phi Beta Kappa and made Dean's List all but one semester :) I was also valedictorian of Hyde Park Baptist High School!

I am currently tutoring in AP Physics, Algebra II, ACT math and seventh grade math :) 2330 SAT 34 ACT Took 8 AP Tests and got a 5 on each one! I took Music Theory, Government, U.S. History, BC Calculus, Statistics, Physics B, English Comp. and English Lit. I got a 31 on my MCAT but didn't take a class or anything! I want to be a tutor because I love to make connections and think creatively about subjects! I enjoy creating analogies and helping people understand big concepts and problem-solving! I took a ton of classes in college and got A's in all but four of them! I got in to medical school which is super exciting! I also wrote a 77-page thesis on nutrition! I spent a semester as a healthcare policy intern for Texas Public Policy Foundation and I also spent a semester as a research assistant in childhood obesity.

I love Jesus Christ more than anything else in the world! I love music - I played piano my whole life and am actually a professional accompanist! I majored in piano my freshman year of college before I decided to pursue medicine. I sang in UT's official show choir "Longhorn Singers" (you can find some of my performances on YouTube! Just search for Callie Harakal Longhorn Singers) I like to run and watch movies and spend quality time with friends! I am so excited to be a doctor and am enjoying learning Spanish in order to communicate with the Spanish-speaking patients I'll have as a med student in San Antonio.
