Graduated in 2015 with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Obtained a M.S. degree in Microbiology with a concentration in Medical microbiology and biochemistry from the University of Florida.
Experience
Have done tutoring for high school students for various years in the areas of AP Biology, PRE-AP Biology, Genetics, Biology SAT prep and ACT prep, and in some instances pre-calculus. On the college and university level i was a hired tutor for the University of the Incarnate word in i tutored in Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Genetics, Biological Chemistry (for nursing students), Human genomics, Microbiology. Currently with my Master's degree i teach students the biochemical aspects on how microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, and fungi) cause human disease through courses such as Medical microbiology, Virology, Infectious Diseases, Advanced Bacteriology, Advanced Bacterial Genetics, Molecular Genetics of Eukaryotes, etc.

Hobbies
My personal hobbies include watching various kinds of movies that include action, suspense and drama. I enjoy going to the beach and relaxing at the spa or taking walks through nature. I enjoy in conversations that deal with the meaning and complexity of life and where we are going as a whole in the realms of diseases. I like to maintain my current and keep updated in the medical field of infectious disease by reading various peer review articles, textbooks, and research papers in the field of infectious diseases and in pediatric infectious diseases.
