Experience
Over the past four years, I've been working as a French teacher and have helped a number of people improve their understanding of this fascinating language. I received my bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University - Provo in French studies, and am currently enrolled in a PhD program in French linguistics. My tutoring experience has given me the privilege of teaching conversational French to students of all ages. Along with helping people prepare for upcoming French exams in the classroom, I've also assisted students with learning survival French before an upcoming trip to a French-speaking country. I believe the best way to teach a new language is to incorporate a wide range of activities and make the learning experience as fun as possible. Learning a new language can be difficult and intimidating at times, but with the right teacher, every student can reach their language-learning goals. It's my goal to give people the guidance and one-on-one help they need to not only understand French, but develop a love for this language that makes them want to learn more in their free time. I'm experienced in tutoring all levels of French, as well as GRE test prep. When I'm not teaching, I like to spend my time cooking and playing with my dog.
