I'm studying for a degree at the University of Texas in Austin, and as part of that, I am working as a Teacher's Assistant in two calculus classes at the university. I work with various sized groups of students, as well as individual students, to help them come to a deeper understanding of calculus and its many practical applications in the world around us. I have spent time as a math teacher, where I developed lesson plans that were designed to cater to different students' learning abilities and styles. At the same time, they created an environment that helped students feel safe and confident while learning math subjects. I am available to tutor students in most math subjects, and enjoy working one on one with students, where I have the opportunity to develop lessons specifically based on their needs, strengths, abilities, and challenges. Outside of math, I also enjoy dancing, playing soccer, and kayaking.
