I have certification to teach in the state of Virginia, and I work at a local high school where I teach Drama. I went to Fordham University for undergrad, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in French and Theater. I also earned a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Tennessee, where I studied Theater. I've taught children in elementary school, adolescents in middle and high school, college students, and adults (including seniors). I'm also teaching Public Speaking and Art History for DeVry University. I've been tutoring Writing and Reading for a number of years, as well. I use my experiences in theater to help students carve out new and different learning strategies. I can work with students in Literature, Public Speaking, Phonics, Math, English, Languages (French), Philosophy, and other subjects. I can also help with test preparation for the PSAT, SAT, SSAT, ISEE, and Advanced Placement (English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition). I'm attending George Mason U to receive certification in graduate-level education for theater. I'm excited to help students attain success in their studies! Outside of work and school, I love to read, listen to music, stay fit, and hang out with my dog.
