I graduated from The University of Texas in 2011. I graduated with a religious studies degree and I am currently preparing for grad school. I have always loved school and I miss it. I know that tutoring will not only allow me to work in something that I am good at,but it will keep me in the school atmosphere that I miss. I have a friend who works as a tutor right now, and she is a big part of why I want to start tutoring. She is working with a high school student on the book 'Brave New World'. I was immediately jealous because that is one of my favorite books and nothing sounds more entertaining then hashing out all of the symbolism with a student. I worked in an after school program for at risk youth and most of my job was homework help. I worked with one specific girl everyday and there is nothing more fun then watching a child become excited about their grades.
