Experience

I assisted ESL students in various academic subjects since middle school. My first official tutoring position start in the fall 2007, where I tutored students in college-level French and high-school math. In addition to offering private lessons, I have also taught Chinese Schools on the weekends for over 4 yrs. I started out teaching 4 to 6 year-olds at the Xiang Yun Temple. Later, I offered instructions in Mandarin Chinese to heritage students at the Austin Taiwanese Presbyterian Church Chinese School. Until 2014, I've taught non-heritage students in the first level Chinese as Second Language class (CSL Red) at the Austin Chinese School. WHY TUTORING?
