Have been tutoring students of all levels and ages since 2002 as a volunteer and paid tutor for various institutions (eg, UCLA Children's Hospital, Brown University outreach programs, community centers, Austin Community College). Have also been a teacher for statistics, college algebra, and physics. I am patient and love to help students understand how to solve problems and understand why we solve problems a certain way. I've taken several courses to date, and I feel that if you really understand a concept you do not have to memorize a bunch of abstract equations. I hope to help students think in this way.
