Private tutor in Austin, TX
I am a rising junior at The University of Texas at Austin. I am receiving Bachelor of Arts degrees in Plan II Honors and Government, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, with a minor in Business. After undergrad, I plan to attend law school and receive joint J.D/Masters in Public Health degrees. My overall GPA is a 3.73, and I currently hold University Honors and am on the Dean's List in the College of Liberal Arts. I am taking part in two honors programs: Health Science Scholars and Plan II Honors.
I have been tutoring students since the 9th grade. I am a regular volunteer at KIPP Austin, where I assist with ACT tutoring and college essay editing. I am a former early learner instructor at Kumon, where I assisted with teaching math and reading skills to children aged 4-7. In high school, I had a 4.0 unweighted GPA and a 5.71 weighted GPA. I received a 232 on the PSAT, and a 2240 on the (old) SAT. I also received a 35 on my ACT. I am available to tutor in any subject through 12th grade. Next semester, I will also be working as an undergraduate teaching assistant in a microbiology lab.
