Experience: I have been working with children in various capacities for the past five years. Currently, I am working with the Boys and Girls Club at a Middle School, teaching arts and life skills classes and considering pursuing a graduate degree in Education. I have worked with students from pre-school through High School and am able to tailor my teaching approach accordingly. College: I graduated in only 3 and half years from Bard College in upstate New York, a small but prestigious liberal arts school. I majored in Theatre Directing with a concentration in Spanish and Latin American Studies. For my senior project I translated a Colombian play and directed its North American Premiere. SAT: 2260 cumulative SAT score with a perfect score on the Reading section and a 790 in Writing. I also received high scores on the English and Spanish SAT II tests. Received a national commendation based on my PSAT scores. IB: Completed a bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma in English and Spanish Higher Level. I was the only non-native Spanish-speaker in my Higher Level class. AP: Perfect score on the AP Spanish tests, despite not having been enrolled in an AP course.
