I've been tutoring since high school, in all of the subjects I've listed as being comfortable tutoring. I tutored all through high school, college, and now graduate school. My ACT score was 32. (This was in 1996.) I love teaching! What I especially love is finding out a new way to teach something that allows a student to learn. Seeing that "aha!" moment that lights up a student's face is priceless, and I can't imagine ever giving up that experience. To this end, I am always reading the latest research on learning theory, and keeping myself abreast of as many varied techniques of teaching as I can.

I'm an avid reader. I can sometimes read a 400 page novel in one day! I especially love science fiction, but I'll read anything as long as the psychology is intriguing. I love to travel, and I've been all over the world. I really enjoy cooking and gardening. I'm pretty hooked on yoga. I also play video games when I want to really relax.
