Private tutor in Austin, TX

University of Texas at Austin, Major in Applied Learning and Development, Minor in Educational Psychology, Graduated with Honors in 2006

I was an elementary school teacher in the Austin Independent School District for the past 8 years. I was named the Teacher of Promise for my school during my first year of teaching, and I was later named the Teacher of the Year for my school. I am currently pursuing a masters program so that I can become a librarian. I hold the Texas certifications for the Early Childhood through Fourth Grade Generalist, English as a Second Language Supplemental, and Gifted and Talented Supplemental. I have many years of tutoring experience. I worked for 2 tutoring companies, I tutored privately, and I also tutored in a school setting. I want to continue tutoring so that I can help students develop skills that will enable them to be successful at school, increase their confidence, and encourage their love of learning.
