I have always excelled in English reading and writing. I enjoy working closely with others and using teaching techniques that work best for each unique individual. I have experience working with children as a lifeguard and as a swim instructor, and I gain tremendous satisfaction when children thrive in a fun, efficient learning environment. I have taken various communication courses such as organizational and interpersonal communication; these areas of study have enhanced my ability to foster relationships and effectively communicate with others. These courses have also enhanced my ability to understand others and work as a team player. My kinesiology courses have improved my understanding of what constitutes healthy learning environments that allow individuals to prosper. I have also learned fun techniques that engage individuals to participate in learning activities. I believe learning requires a very positive and motivating environment and instructor-one who provides clear instruction, listens and gives meaningful feedback, and genuinely cares about the success of the student.

I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle by participating in regular physical activity and exercise and by cooking my own food. I enjoy participating in and spectating outdoor and indoor activities. I enjoy all types of music and movies. I love animals, especially dogs. I love children, and enjoy interacting with them (playing games, teaching, arts and crafts).
