My name is Osborn and I live in Austin, Texas. I'm a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas (Austin). I eventually hope to be credentialed to teach, and I was involved in a teaching preparation program while working on my degrees. I love to share my passion for learning with others, and help students learn different concepts and how it can be related to one another. My approach doesn't involve asking them to memorize shortcuts that won't help them in future courses. I like to keep my students engaged and involved with the learning process.I'm a Hong Kong native who moved to the United States when I was 16 years old. I enjoy speaking and teaching Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese. My other tutoring areas include: middle school math, algebra (1, 2, 3 and 4), geometry, and finite mathematics. In my free time, I enjoy drawing and listening to music (rock and indie bands). I love cars and driving, and really like spending a day just driving around Austin's hill country to the west, enjoying the scenery, and exploring some of the less-trafficked areas. This part of Texas is gorgeous and I never tire of learning more about it.
