My place of birth is Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, a small town in the Far Eastern part of Russia. As a child I met many people from different cultures who spoke different languages, and their presence inspired me to seek out the world outside. I graduated from high school and mastered English and then traveled to Anchorage to get my bachelor's degree in Spanish and French from the University of Alaska. Anchorage, too, was a city of many cultures and I thrived there. I have been tutoring Russian for five years, and I am happy to communicate my love for my native language to my students. I tailor my teaching to each particular student, accounting for their obstacles and their ambitions. I am diligent and dedicated and the success of my student is my greatest priority. As a student of languages myself, I understand the frustration in learning another language, and I can be a patient and calming influence. Besides Russian, I also teach other languages.I intend to go on and get an MBA in Hotel and Hospitality Management. Ultimately I want a tourism career. I am married and we have three cats. I like to read classical literature, and I enjoy belly dancing.
