I am a certified tutor. I love to teach the Sciences including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and even Psychology. My love began when I was an inquisitive child and wanted to learn just how everything worked. I learned quickly that textbooks were not the best teaching tools, as they are often written in language that is difficult for students to understand. So when I tutor, I break down what is written into more easily understandable language, in order to help students understand how and what they are learning applies to real life. My ultimate goal when tutoring is to not only help students master the current curriculum they are learning, but to make learning science fun for students who currently don't enjoy the subject. I also teach great study habits that students can use in all areas of their learning careers. I teach them how to break down learning materials into more understandable components and how to make studying fun, instead of a dreaded chore. I attended the University of Puget Sound in Seattle, where I earned a Bachelor in Molecular Biology and earned summa cum laude. I was also honored with many other awards upon graduating.In my free time, I love to travel, cook, and dance.
