Private tutor in Austin, TX
Education
Southwestern University - BS, Physics
Experience
I attended Southwestern University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics. I also minored in Mathematics and Computer Science. While at the university, I worked with high school and college students tutoring Physics, Computer Science, and Math. I also worked as a lab assistant in Astronomy at Southwestern University. After I graduated, I taught at a private school (sixth grade), and continued to help high school students with science and math courses. My specialties, obviously, are in Math and Science. Specifically, I am available to tutor in middle school math, Algebra (1-2), Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, and Astronomy. I especially enjoy Physics, Calculus, and Algebra because these subjects are so amazingly complex.I have always enjoyed solving difficult problems, and I now enjoy helping students to do the same. I believe in the importance of learning throughout one's entire life, and work to help every student to develop a love of learning. I help students to understand every step on the road to understanding a solution, thus allowing them to realize they have the capability to overcome every problem they come across. In this way, they are able to reach their goals. When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking, reading, and running with my dog.
