Experience

I am a well-rounded tutor who resides in Austin, TX. I strongly believe that no two individuals learn the same way, and want to show students it's okay to approach learning in ways that are most comfortable for them. I hold a bachelor's degree in linguistics and have a long-time love of filmmaking. I was afforded the opportunity to study abroad in Paris while attending Harvard University, and even wrote a thesis entitled "Verlan," which is based on French vernacular. Currently, I tutor both middle and high school students in the areas of college preparatory math, logic, English, writing, video editing, and academics. I also help students in higher learning preparations with subjects like SAT subject tests, GRE verbal, grammar and mechanics, critical reading, essay editing, and study skills and organization. Sooner than later, I would love to return to school and obtain a master's degree in fine arts with a concentration in film production. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy bike riding, cooking, and interactive media.
