Experience
I graduated with a B.A. degree from Trinity Western University in Elementary Education, Social Studies, and French, and a degree in Education with a concentration on French Education and Learning Disabilities from Simon Fraser University. This all led me to become a student again working for my master's in Special Ed at the University of Texas. My past experience includes teaching ESL students from K-8 throughout the U.S., Canada, and Morocco. I am qualified to tutor subjects such as Math, French, ESL/ELL, Writing, Reading, Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, American History, Study Skills and Organization, Phonics, History, and Geography. My favorite subjects to tutor are language, writing, social studies, and reading. I also enjoy helping students prepare for the STAAR test in the subjects of reading, U. S. History, and writing. I find it a welcome challenge to figure out how to most effectively reach out to students since each individual is very unique. I currently live in Austin, Texas, and during my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, anything outdoors, traveling, and crafts.
