I attended the University of California in Irvine, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I am currently continuing my studies by pursuing a Master of Science in Material Science Engineering. While at my university, I tutored students of all grades, ranging from elementary to high school, in various subjects related to math and sciences. During this time, I helped my students bring up their grades from C to A averages. I believe every individual has the ability to succeed, and with the formation of proper study skills and a learning style that makes use of that person's strengths, any one student can excel in the classroom.My tutoring skills include classroom management, having an open channel of communication with students from all backgrounds, and the drive to connect with students with even the most challenging of behaviors. I believe both creativity and the use of a wide range of teaching materials are needed to make the class fun, exciting, and engaging. I am dedicated to leaving a positive impact on the lives of my students by helping them grow and develop both as students and as individuals. In addition to teaching, I helped organize demonstrations which helped inspire and facilitate learning among grammar school students as a member of the University Chemistry Outreach Program.
