Experience
I have extensive experience working as a tutor and have been assisting in a classroom since I was young. I currently work with the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Laboratory as a forensic photographer. I earned my degree in Forensic Photography from Barry University in 2012, after having earned a bachelor's degree in Crime, Law, and Justice from Penn State University several years before. My mother was a teacher and I spent a great deal of time assisting her with her elementary classes. From early on, I learned an appreciation of teaching and learning. I would assist students with reading and basic math and continued to tutor throughout my years at college. I am able to assist in areas such as math, logic, reading and writing skills, Algebra, Geometry, Social Studies, Physiology, and Anatomy. I am also comfortable helping students prepare for standardized exams such as the ISEE and the SSAT. When I am not busy at work or tutoring, I like to pursue some of my favorite hobbies. I like to listen to music and play the drums, do word games and logic problems, cooking, baking, and puzzles. I also enjoy activities such as rock climbing and running.
