Experience
I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in History. After completing my undergraduate degree, I attended Washington and Lee University, where I received my J.D. from the School of Law. I am currently in the process of receiving my teaching certification for the state of Texas.I enjoy teaching a range of subjects in government, politics, law, English, and American and European history. However, my real strength is preparing students for standardized testing. I am able to help prepare any student who is planning to take the LSAT, ACT or SAT. When helping students prepare for the LSAT, I tutor them in analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, and reading comprehension.I believe in giving students a hands-on approach to learning. I do this by having the student practice until he or she feels comfortable in the subject. Whether one wants to write an outstanding essay or improve his or her test score, the best results are achieved through constant practice.In addition to teaching, I am enlisted in the armed services, where I have a wealth of experience training soldiers in various duties. Outside of education, I like being outdoors, playing with dogs, reading books, and playing video games.
