Experience
I have been a math tutor for the past seven years. In that time I have tutored for several years for Tutor.com as a Mathematics tutor. I am currently a part-time tutor for ACC. Both tutoring online, and tutoring for the local Austin Community College I have had experience with a very wide variety of problems and have developed an impressive tool kit for problem solving. I often include visuals/pictures when explaining a problem, to make the problem and method of solution more understandable. I utilize technology, such as the IPAD and TI-84, in my tutoring to alleviate students need to engage in redundant arithmetic and to record tutoring sessions for future student review.
