I teach saxophone lessons (saxophone being my principal instrument) to high school and middle school students, I scored either 5's or perfect scores on the different subjects of the AP Music Theory test, I've taken close to twenty music theory/counterpoint classes focusing on music ranging from the 16th to 20th centuries, and I can relate well to the common skill set of a high school music student.
