I graduated from Drew University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a double minor in Italian and Linguistics, with a focus on Neuroscience. I maintain a dedicated work ethic and set daily goals to keep organized and motivated. I am passionate about language and the human brain. I speak Italian and Spanish, as well as some Portuguese and Korean, and am working to become fluent in all of these, as well as learning French. I am also fascinated with neuroscience and what makes our bodies function. I also enjoy teaching languages, specifically English as a second language (ESL), as well as different cultures of the world. One method I use in teaching is to fully understand a student's native language and their learning style. In addition to tutoring ESL, I also tutor Spanish and Italian and all neuroscience material. I currently teach some students one-on-one and I incorporate entertaining activities into more challenging scenarios. I am aware of the frustration of learning a new language and with extensive experience I can teach in very engaging ways. I remain very adaptable in my teaching and apply the methods that I see having the most benefit. I encourage my students to actively participate in class to glean the most from every lesson. Away from class, I enjoy dance, yoga, and reading.
