I have been a former competitive gymnast and dancer. Having the honor to be the captain of my Drill Team in High School gave me the opportunity to enhance my teaching skills. It also allowed me to work as a dance instructor for a short period of time at an Elementary School's after school program. As a college student now, I have participated in numerous peer academic coaching sessions where I have acquired the knowledge on study skills and organization. Math has always been a strong subject, so I would enjoy helping kids who are just starting off in school make math a strong subject of theirs too.
