I am receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from St. Edward's University in May 2015. I will be graduating with a 3.01 GPA from the university. I will be furthering my education in a year to earn a Masters in Counseling, after completing a year of service with City Year.
Experience
I want to become a tutor to gain further experience teaching various topics because I have an upcoming position with City Year. City Year is an Americorps position that provides mentoring and tutoring to students at-risk of dropping out. I have been a teaching assistant at my university, which required me to assist students on course work and holding review sessions for exams.
