I started a Childcare service in my neighborhood in high school and after helping many of my families' kids with homework and projects I decided to start a tutoring service. As a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin, I established the tutoring service in 2004 and continue to see students on a regular basis. I have worked with pre-kindergarten students who just love to learn and wanted to get ahead in math all the way to Precalculus students in high school as well as SAT and ACT prep. *12+ years tutoring experience* -Elementary through High School math -SAT, ACT prep (math) I DO ONLINE SESSIONS WITH STUDENTS WORLDWIDE VIA SKYPE. Discounted session fee for 3+ students in one session. All of my long term (1+ years) students have gotten into Universities straight out of High School. I have seen students beginning in 5th grade and saw them through to College. Hobbies

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and as such, I love to be outdoors: kayaking, SUP, running the trail or on a boat. Thankful for long summers in Austin and mild winters. However, I love a nice snowy Aspen winter spent on a snowboard! Beaches and mountains are my heaven. I LOVE math and science! My degree was in science so I decided to combine creativity + science and I starting writing and illustrating children's books, the Super Smart Science Series for ages 3 to 12. I am the author of ALGEBRA IS EASY, a complete guide to the course accompanied by free online videos corresponding to each page in the book. Release date June 2015. I played the flute through school and was privileged to play with the Longhorn Band and went to the Rose Bowl, HOOK EM!!!! Knitting is another hobby of mine, blankets and scarves mostly but working on a sweater for next winter. I am a HUGE Longhorns fan, really hopeful for an amazing 2016 season!
