Experience
Experiences I work as a private English tutor around working as a freelance industry researcher. I have experience teaching students between the ages of 13-17 years, both in person and through online tutoring. I have helped students improve their reading comprehension skills, spelling and grammar and essay writing skills. I have also edited coursework and other assignments. I first started tutoring during my King's College London Masters program. I taught 15-17 year old students in two inner city London schools, working as a volunteer for an educational London based charity called Action Tutoring. I enjoyed it and decided to start doing private English tutoring. One of the reasons I enjoy tutoring is that over time I have learnt strategies that help every student whatever their abilities. This includes reviewing, timed question practice and focusing on essay planning and structuring techniques.
