I have a master's degree in secondary English education in addition to my bachelor's degree in journalism. More importantly, though, I've been teaching for more than 20 years, and I've helped literally thousands of students with college essays and general writing support.
Experience
I have 20+ years of teaching experience in middle and high schools, and I love working with all kinds of teenagers. I'm positive and friendly, and I enjoy helping young people figure out what to write and how to write it. I've been named a Coca Cola Scholars Foundation Educator of Distinction for three years, and most recently, I've received an Outstanding Teaching of the Humanities award from Humanities Texas.
