Experience

I enjoy tutoring high school students especially because I feel that, especially junior year is a high-stress period when it seems that so much is at stake for them, it is important to provide support and structure to help them succeed into adulthood. My junior year was when I used a tutor to catch up in Trigonometry and sneak ahead into Calculus, and I remember that as a very positive experience. Volunteering with high school students as part of an SAT Prep program through New York Cares and Urban Upbound in Queens, New York. Received a college scholarship for ACT score (35/36 in 2004)

In my spare time I have been learning web development, computer programming, and brushing up on calculus.
