Hello. I'm Duy and I attend Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. I am a pretty smart guy, but not in a typical pretentious way. I am intelligent in more of a "the world has so many things to explore" way, perhaps explaining why I am so fascinated with the idea of being a Renaissance Man. I am also a people pleaser who loves to work with others. You can count on me to crack some jokes and make sure you're comfortable. With me as your tutor, you will get a style of tutoring that is personalized for you. I will happily take your strengths and needs into account when tutoring you and tailor my help to these things. I prefer to do hands-on work where I teach you how to work problems on your own, rather than giving you answers without the needed knowledge. I believe learning the principles of a subject will go a lot farther than just helping you squeak by on a single assignment or exam. While I do love academics, hence me being here, I also have tons of other interests. I love learning about new things, academic or not, and some of my hobbies are reading, going to concerts, camping, checking out thrift stores, and just generally seeking out new experiences to add to my life.
