I am a recent graduate of Concordia University, where I earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership. However, I have been a classroom teacher for six years. For me, being a teacher is a tremendous honor and a dream come true, as I am able to directly make a positive impact in the lives of so many children day in and day out. As someone who is committed to lifelong learning, teaching affords me the opportunity to continually feed my passion and to acquire new knowledge. I have taught Social Studies in middle school and in high school. I have also taught various subjects and levels in elementary school. I can provide tutoring in Reading, Writing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, American History, Geography, Public Speaking, and Religious Studies. I can also help students who want to prepare for the COMPASS subject tests in Math, Reading, and Writing Skills and the ACT, SSAT, and SAT. I live in Austin, Texas. It is a great city to explore. I like being active, and I especially enjoy being outdoors with my family and friends. I am excited about the opportunity to work with you to reach the academic goals you have set.
