Education
I am still working on my education at ACC here in Austin. My GPA is just under 3.0, but only because I had taken some time off from school because of family matters and getting back into the swing of things was not as easy as I thought it would. Currently my major is international business with a minor in linguistics. I have taken German throughout most of my schooling and have always enjoyed it.
Experience
I am currently tutoring one student. I have been speaking German fluently for about seven years and have been studying German for over ten years. I have passed all of my German courses at the top of my class and have been asked by professors to assist in helping other students in my German courses. I speak Dutch and Afrikaans as well, they are not as fluent but natives have always been impressed by my linguistic abilities. If you would like possible references from people who are native speakers of German who have contact with daily, I am sure they'd be obliged to speak with you on my level of German. I enjoy tutoring people and helping them better their knowledge of German. Most people find it a difficult language, and I would agree that it can be difficult, and as I am a self-taught German speaker, I can give them some great tips on improving their German.
