My specialties include tutoring English and writing, plus social studies and humanities. Test prep is another area I am experienced with and I can help overcome test anxiety while developing study and organizational skills. I can also cover American history, European history, geography, creative writing, vocabulary, government, social studies, and other academic subjects. Compassionate with my tutees, I have worked with many people who had difficulties with reading and learning and have helped them succeed. I have taught for more than five years. Plus, I have a master's degree in English, which I earned at the University of Texas at Arlington. I'm committed to the client's success and helping them achieve their goals.Also, I studied at Oxford University and, at Brown University, did some archival research. I won several awards in research for my archival studies. Now living in Austin, Texas, I attend Spring Arbor University as well and enjoy reading and hiking with my dachshunds when I have the time. Movies, board games, and friends make up my remaining outside interests.
